Google’s Penguin 2.1 Update Is Now Live!

HL News • October 5, 2013

The next version of Google’s Penguin update became live on October 4th, what does it mean to you and your website? The Penguin updates are Google’s way of fighting online “spam” (sites that use blackhat techniques relating to links). While Google itself says the new update only effects about 1% of the queries for its search engine, now is NOT the time to become complacent and think that quality of content does not matter. The Penguin update combined with Google’s new Hummingbird algorithm means that the quality of content on your site is even more important.

You will need to create interior pages and/or blog posts on your site that describe all the things that your company does in detail; including services, and products. Write about how you may have overcome certain challenges to satisfy your customers needs.
